I make linocuts …multiblock and reduction . Inspiration comes from the worlds I try to spend my life in – places I love, places that matter – gardens, alottments, follies and ruins and lots of trees … walking , drawing, gardening and taking those feelings , colours and memories back to my city centre studio and my beloved 1830s Albion press.
It all started at Cambridge Tech decades ago, where my love of printmaking was kindled by the wonderful keeper of the print room artist Walter Hoyle. I went on to Fine Art at West Surrey College, and a few years later an MA in Nottingham .
