Printfest Print Collection

The Printfest collection of prints is growing each year. The Printmaker of the Year undertakes a residency in early spring. The residency gives them the opportunity to enjoy the environment, time and space to develop their practice and create work that is inspired by, and engages with the local area. They take inspiration from industrial Barrow-in-Furness to rural Lake District with the Festival Town of Ulverston being the home of Printfest. The first edition of the print created is unveiled at the Printfest weekend and becomes part of the Printfest Collection.
