Margaret studied Fine Art at the University of Hertfordshire followed by a Masters in Printmaking at the University of Brighton. She is interested in faith and connection, suggested through movement, gesture and sign language. She often returns to contemporary dance as a motif, using her own photographs or found footage. She realises her images as photo etchings printed from several plates, allowing her to create rich atmospheric works.
She is based in Chester where she creates and prints her steel plates in her riverside studio. She is a fellow of the RE and regularly exhibits in national competitions.
