Inspiration comes from drawing in the wild, Zoology Botany and Geology.
I like getting a bit political, doing something with a message. I love working with Scientists /experts, to raise awareness of important conservation issues for example The Decline Of Eels, a series of 12 relief prints. I hope my prints raise fundamental questions about man’s relationship with wildlife and the environment.
Cutting and carving oak planks, plywood, lino blocks, stencils and combining anything I can get a print from. I work out complex sequences of layers of colours and blocks to achieve what I want.
