Sarah has a passion for the process of printmaking. Discovering, experimenting and exploring the many mark making possibilities. Combining and blurring the boundaries between one print technique and another.

In her recent collection of original prints, ‘Portraits of Tudor women’ she uses a collagraph as her base plate. On top she lays a smaller thin aluminium plate , using monotype to describe the gently features of the face, smaller elements of drypoint are also added to create a contrast in line and tone.
All these elements are printed in one ‘pull of the press’ each print being unique.
