I am a printmaker living and working in Rutland. I make colourful collagraph landscapes and have recently introduced some monoprinting into my repertoire. My fascination with remote, hard to reach buildings lends itself to my individual, quirky style. I try to evoke a feeling of escape and peacefulness in my work I produce either one off prints or small collagraph editions of 10. I love the printmaking process, the “reveal” as the print goes though the press never disappoints, the unpredictability, the softness of the image, my colourful palette and often, the emboss on the paper. Nothing compares.
