My work explores various printing techniques, monoprint, linocut, screenprint and etching. I love to explore my passion for drawing, perspective, colour and pattern through the diversity of print, enjoying challenges and the surprise’s each print form can provide.
My printmaking practice reflects observations of the everyday. The work is primarily figurative and I aim to imply that the individuals depicted, experience a genuine quality of life. I hope to spark an element of recognition so the viewer may identify with the event or individuals depicted. In this way my work generates a familiarity and a recall of funny moments, memories of lost times and social interaction.
