My printmaking explores both urban and rural spaces, responding to moments in time. Some places are in flux, being developed and some are now settled and have been through that process. There are always conversations about our environments, their history, whether and how they should change.
Colour is significant in my work, whether subtle or vibrant. Using a limited palette or leaving areas untouched, I explore space and mood within the images I create. Surfaces of my screen prints show layers of solid and transparent elements, evoking an essence of the places I visit.
