I studied illustration and graphic design at Ipswich Art School in the seventies and spent many years as a freelance illustrator.  My introduction to printmaking was as a teenager, when I helped Joe Lubbock print the etchings for his limited edition books. This led to my joining an evening class where I produced my own etchings. Now my family has grown up I have more time to devote to my work and in 2014 I attended a workshop at Sudbourne Park Printmakers to learn woodcutting. I have subsequently become a member and printmaking has become my main artistic focus.
