My subject matter is largely the pattern and shape of the English countryside and its architecture and their relationship with each other, sometimes including people to add a sense of scale and narrative. I enjoy the limitations and disciplines of the linoprint, which encourages a selective process, often resulting in strong, stylised design, the bold use of colour and a decorative quality that I enjoy. Recent galleries include The Watts Gallery and The Biscuit Factory. Also public commissions undertaken for Oxford University and The Wellcome Trust.
