Sarah Mander

After completing a Masters’ Degree in Fine Art Printmaking Sarah co-founded Red Hot Press print workshop in 2004. Her work is held in public and private collections. Sarah teachers printmaking at Red Hot Press and is a visiting lecturer at West Dean College.

The starting point for her work is the world around her. For example observing the structure of trees in eerie autumn light. Also from photographs and drawings of man-made objects that have been weathered and worn by time and use. She is fascinated by the results of time, wear and atmospheric conditions on natural and man-made objects.
