My work seeks to create spaces that are grounded in the real and photographic but also appear abstract, I do this by layering and fragmenting my imagery thus forming ambiguous, non defined, non- spaces which allows imagination and past experiences to draw the viewer deeper into my prints. The forest is my subject matter because their spaces are dense and hard to see through, they envelop us in a shroud of trees which blocks our horizon and prevents us from quantifying their scope and depth.
