Sarah de Feu
Sarah is a Yorkshire based artist and printmaker who takes inspiration from the landscape around her as well as from a stretch of the North Cornwall Coastline. The two locations are a rich source of beautiful colours, moods and textures. The prints are an emotional and artistic response to these ever shifting landscapes.
The Still Life works are a study in form, colour, light, shade, line and pattern, and the relationships between these elements much as a landscape would be. Sarah builds layers of colour and imagery using ink and stencils until the composition and colours are harmonious.
