Lou is a printmaker living and working in Edinburgh. She works in screen print and lino print and recently begun to explore etching. Her work is abstract, using combinations of geometric forms and organic lines and is inspired by people, politics and spirituality. She is currently working towards a PhD in theology using printmaking as a creative practice and recent works created for this have been inspired by the topics she is reading about; attitudes towards money, debt and finance and the way those impact ordinary lives.
