I live in the Yorkshire Dales and am a fellrunner both of which greatly influence my printmaking. Over twenty-four years I have developed my collagraphs and combine intricate cutting, painted textures and collage with the layering of multiple plates. With my images I aim to accentuate the patterns and celebrate the colours found in nature, drawing attention to my encounters with wildlife and the seasonal changes within the landscape. Throughout 2019/2020 I am working with the Dales Countryside Museum reprinting the wood engravings of Marie Hartley and developing a new body of work inspired by the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
