James Bywood
It all starts with a walk. Printmaker, James Bywood, takes inspiration from the simplest of processes, walking, be it through his native oak woods of West Yorkshire, or a far flung fell-top in the Lake District. James works in the medium of screen print to capture his emotional response to landscapes. He initially collects ideas in a sketch book using ink and gouache, and then reinterprets these rough ideas into the multilayered prints using his characteristic bold mark making and vibrant colour palette. James’ highly collectible limited edition prints vary in dimensions from A4 297x210mm to A2 509x420mm. The works are available in framed and unframed variants. Prices vary from £50 to £250. Each print is hand printed by James at his studio, comes signed, editioned and supplied with a certificate of authentification.
