Exuberant gestural painterly monotypes full of movement, weather, air and space. Sensitive colour is used to explore the emotional landscape through imagined and unseen places. Aiming to offer a sense of perspective, invite reflection and utilise the restorative and hopeful aspects of nature. Capitalising on the chance mark, and working in layers of transparency to create depth, texture and form, these unique award-winning intuitive works cross the bridge between painting and printmaking. Based at Spike Print Studio Bristol as a tutor in both oil-based and silkscreen printmaking since completing a Masters in Multi-disciplinary Printmaking in 2004.
