The work of the artist has always been connected with British landscape and is a result of travelling extensively around Scotland, Wales, England and Ireland. This exploration includes into research natural history, archaeology, geography and literature associated with the same landscape.

The artist is particularly interested in the remnants of past land usage found in remote areas of our coastline and moorlands, these may be found in the form of prehistoric stones, lead mining equipment, spoil heaps, cairns, or abandoned ruins and wreckage.

The prints are reduction printed using two woodblocks and hand printed in small editions.
