Adele Burdon

Inspired by camper van adventures and the local Northumberland landscape, Adele creates monoprints  of peaks, waterways and woodlands, using a variety of techniques, textures and eclectic objects. Constantly working on and changing the plate until an image reveals itself, and allowing the image to extend beyond the metal plate capturing the countrysides endless horizons. Currently working at Horsley Printmakers in Northumberland, Adele is enjoys exploring the endless possibilities of Monoprinting.
Adele is from a Design background having attended Edinburgh College of Art and more recently a number of printmaking workshops to learn all types of intaglio and relief printmaking.
