Michael Devereux
My work reflects my interest in science, mathematics and nature. On the surface it may seem there is little order in the diversity of my prints ranging from bright colorful mathematical abstracts to single colour etchings of trees and leaves but below the surface I am attempting to bridge the gap between all these disciples through various different series of print. Printmaking is the perfect medium for me to distribute these ideas as it an experimental art, keeping the scientist in me happy while providing me with the perfect way to describe how I see the natural world.
