Martin Mitchell
Martin Mitchell was born in 1965. He moved to Norwich in 1989. In 1995 he founded the Norwich Print fair which is now a popular annual event in the cultural calendar of Norfolk and has gained national recognition. Mitchell’s own work is rooted in the traditional process of intaglio and relief printmaking. Producing, acclaimed tonal landscapes. His enduring interest is to comment with out nostalgia or sentimentality on the phyical changes in the countryside and societies attituds to them and the enviroment. His work has been exhibited in Russia, USA and India.
