Jenny McCabe is an artist and printmaker with over 25 years’ experience making and exhibiting work. Based in Lancaster in the North West of England, she works from her own studio and teaches regularly in print rooms across the UK. Her practice centres on intaglio printmaking, particularly collagraph and metal plate etching. Drawing sits at the heart of her work, alongside the technical challenge of turning a simple piece of metal or card into an artwork. Her drawings are messy and energetic, with a current focus on birds and wildlife, aiming to capture movement, character, and the frantic energy of her subjects.
