Jay Seabrook

I am a Rutland based printmaker specializing in collagraph landscapes, I often mask out tiny areas on the plate and paint in details with watercolour. I have recently been using a two plate collagraph process to bring an alternative focus to my work. I love the unpredictability of the collagraph process and the resulting soft colours and textures. I print small limited editions of between 10/15. I am inspired by the fantastic countryside around me and my love of the ocean, birds and wildlife. I enjoy extreme places, so my work features hard to reach buildings, snow and stormy seas.
