Gregory Moore
There is nothing more exciting than travelling down a new road, sketchbook in hand, following the bend in a river or reaching the brow of a hill to see something for the first time. My inspiration comes from the landscape and its character and wildlife. Through my etchings and mezzotints I strive to capture its mood, beauty and atmosphere. I use a range of techniques, particularly spit biting and aquatint to give my etchings a painterly feel. I find Printmaking and especially etching a fascinating medium to work in.
