Printmaking is integral to my art practice; its means provide a vocabulary of mark-making midway between the painterly and the graphic which simply cannot be produced through other media.

My previous ‘Printfest’ contribution consisted of landscapes, and figures subjected to trafficking and extraordinary rendition. I have utilised drypoint and monotype techniques since to produce two graphic novels.

current project, ’Fragile Creatures’, uses performers and curiosities from history to represent those hundreds of thousands of people who for one brief moment captured a ray of limelight, but who have now slipped forgotten into the shadows of time.
