Gail Mason
Gail revels in colour, creating painterly silkscreen and oil based monoprints inspired by imagined landscapes. An intuitive painter, she uses gestural mark-making and layers of transparency to create images that offer a meditative yet energised space.
Having completed an MA in Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking, teaching printmaking to degree level and receiving several national awards for her work, she is now a member and tutor at Spike Print Studio in Bristol.
Currently co-chair of North Somerset Arts, an elected member of Somerset Printmakers, Bath Society of Artists, and Artists Network Member of the Royal West of England Academy.
