Combining an eye for detail with an imaginative interpretation Ann uses monoprint, stencils, drawing and card printing plates to make vibrantly coloured images. Each print is unique, produced in a small series exploring a chosen theme. Ideas for prints start in sketches drawn from observation, sourced from sketchbooks and from happy memories of holidays, childhood stories and pastimes. Ann studied Illustration (drawing and printmaking) in North Wales. Her studio is near Sevenoaks in Kent.
