Alison Diamond
Artist/Printmaker. My work explores various printing techniques such as monoprint, linocut, screen printing and etching. My printmaking practice reflects experiences in my life and is therefore influenced by my background in the North East of England. All the images are figurative and are recognisably so. I have tried to imply that the individuals depicted, experience a genuine quality of life that may not, on first impressions be apparent. I love to explore my passion for drawing, perspective, colour and pattern through the diversity of these print mediums, enjoying challenges and the surprise’s each print form can provide along the way.
