When in the print studio, there’s no other place I’d rather be.’
I don’t think there’s anything more exciting than the drawn line, it is the essence of my work. I create imagery by combining drawings with found textures and handwritten text through the process of screen printing. It is the surprise element of printmaking that intrigues me so much, taking control out of the process of image making while at the same time potentially introducing another tangent of exploration. I enjoy drawing traditional architecture, old boat vessels, landscapes and animals.
