I am a printmaker and video artist interested in exploring the connection between actual and virtual worlds, often working with the essentially human nature of avatars. My printmaking uses photopolymer etching to reinterpret this. The process considers the relationship between the digital and the mechanical, and the aesthetics of light on screens and ink on paper. During 2019, I presented work in Denver, Montreal and Berlin, the first two including my connection between print and video art. I am based in Ulverston and Edinburgh, and completing a PhD in Contemporary Art at Lancaster University.
