My work is an exploration of subjects that provoke a sense of the wild, mysterious and uncanny. While representing dynamic aspects of the lived human experience, I try to explore what it means to be a conscious and aware individual in a world where consciousness and awareness are often undervalued or overwhelmed. But despite these noble intentions, I often find myself creating images of ancient trees, of landscapes devoid of human presence, and of seemingly long-established mystical traditions that are, in fact, mostly invented late at night after one too many glasses of malbec.
