Hannah McVicar is a modern botanical artist using printmaking to illustrate plants in all their forms. Specialising in detail, texture, composition, colour & form. Her multi-layered screenprints aim to capture the delicacy and character of the plant. Influenced by her childhood, growing up on an organic herb farm and helping her parents at the RHS flower shows. Her upbringing around plants and her passion for drawing became naturally entwined. Hannah has developed her style through years of practicing the technique of screenprinting, pushing herself to create more elaborate and colourful prints. Hannah is based at Spike Print Studio, in Bristol.
