Intuitive painted monotypes exploring the ‘Emotional Landscape’ through gestural, semi-abstract, fictive places full of movement, weather, air and space. These conjured spaces utilise our connection to nature as the panacea for, and reflection of the human condition. Capitalising on the chance mark, and working in layers of transparency to create depth, texture and form. Unique, award-winning, works which cross the bridge between painting and printmaking. Widely exhibited, and based at Spike Print Studio Bristol as tutor in both oil-based and silkscreen printmaking since completing a Masters in Multi-disciplinary Printmaking in 2004.
