Angela’s work is an expressive and playful reflection of collected objects, still life studies, interiors, and gardens. Bold broken outlines and texture are over-layed with colour using the photo and mono print silkscreen process using both hand-painted and collaged stencils. All her prints are created without the use of computer technology and are developed by layering hand drawn photo stencil images on top of paper stencils. She also paints and mixes ink directly on the screen. Sketchbook drawings are part of her day-to-day creative practise and reflect her interests in the environment which she captures in her prints.
