Aga Kubish is an awards-winning fine artist and printmaker based in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, UK. Known for her intricate, botanical-inspired linocut prints, Aga has developed a highly detailed and instantly recognizable style influenced by traditional engraving techniques. Her process combines pointillism, hatching, and the meticulous use of lines and dots, reminiscent of Albrecht Dürer’s engravings and the graphic precision of Hokusai Katsushika. Elected as an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers in 2022, her work is celebrated internationally, with her linocut “Green House” housed in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. In 2024, Aga opened her own gallery and studio, solidifying her place in the art world. She draws inspiration from nature, old architecture, and the decorative elegance of Alphonse Mucha, creating pieces that merge historical artistic traditions with a contemporary vision.
